Family Worship Guide

Family worship: Genesis 18:16-33
Private worship: Numbers 5-22 (Spread your reading throughout the week.)

Discussion questions: What do these passages say about God? What do these passages say about me? What do these passages say about the relationship between God and me?

PRAY

Adoration: God is holy, mighty, gracious, and merciful. Spend time declaring your love for Him.

Confession: Continually confessing your sins to God and asking for His forgiveness will keep you from taking the great price Christ paid on the cross for granted.

Thanksgiving: Express your thankfulness to God for the blessings He has given you. When we consider that we deserve punishment because of our sinfulness, and instead God gives to us His love and mercy, our only response should be one of thankfulness.

Supplication: Pray for your local leaders. Pray that God would give them wisdom as they lead and make decisions that directly impact you and your community.

MEMORIZE

Be sure to review scripture memory verses and catechism questions from previous weeks!

Scripture: For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God (Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.) –Psalm&62:5-7

Catechism:
Can God do all things?
Yes. God can do all his holy will (Ps. 147:5; Jer. 32:17; Dan. 4:34, 35; Eph. 1: 11).

Where do you learn how to love and obey God?
In the Bible alone (Job 11:7; Ps. 119:104; Is. 8:20; Mt. 22:29; 2 Tim. 3:15-17).
