Family worship: Matthew 5:31-32
Private worship: Deuteronomy 5-27 (Spread your reading throughout the week.)
Discussion questions: What do these passages say about God? What do these passages say about me? What do these passages say about the relationship between God and me?
PRAY
Adoration: God is holy, mighty, gracious, and merciful. Spend time declaring your love for Him.
Confession: Continually confessing your sins to God and asking for His forgiveness will keep you from taking the great price Christ paid on the cross for granted.
Thanksgiving: Express your thankfulness to God for the blessings He has given you. When we consider that we deserve punishment because of our sinfulness, and instead God gives to us His love and mercy, our only response should be one of thankfulness.
Supplication: Pray for specific opportunities to bless others.
SING
“Worthy Is the Lamb,” no. 264 in The Worship Hymnal
MEMORIZE
Be sure to review scripture memory verses and catechism questions from previous weeks!
Scripture: Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. –1 John 2:15-17

A. He gave them souls that could never die (1 Cor. 15:45: Eccl. 12:7; Zech. 12:1).
