READ
Family worship: Genesis 29:1-12
Private worship: 1 Chronicles 13-2 Chronicles 8 (Spread your reading throughout the week.)
Discussion questions: What do these passages say about God? What do these passages say about me? What do these passages say about the relationship between God and me?
PRAY
Adoration: God is holy, mighty, gracious, and merciful. Spend time declaring your love for Him.
Confession: Continually confessing your sins to God and asking for His forgiveness will keep you from taking the great price Christ paid on the cross for granted.
Thanksgiving: Express your thankfulness to God for the blessings He has given you. When we consider that we deserve punishment because of our sinfulness, and instead God gives to us His love and mercy, our only response should be one of thankfulness.
Supplication: Pray for the adults in your church. Pray that they would grow in their faith in Christ and provide godly leadership for your church.
SING
“Since I Have Been Redeemed,” no. 284 in The Worship Hymnal
MEMORIZE
Be sure to review scripture memory verses and catechism questions from previous weeks!
Scripture: If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
–Colossians 1:1-3
